Rigaud began as a luxury fragrance house devoted to the art of fine perfumery. Seeking to blend fine fragrance with wax, creating the world’s first marketed scented candle.
Each Rigaud candle is handmade in France, crafted with signature fragrances and a uniquely formulated soft wax that ensures exceptional richness, intensity, and lasting aroma.
Rigaud’s patented wax liquefies evenly when lit into a smooth, liquid surface, ensuring the fragrance diffuses completely and consistently until the very end without residue or waste.
Born from the fragrance fields in Grasse, candles are crafted around fragrance, delivering exceptional intensity and lasting performance. With a generous fragrance concentration of eight to twelve percent, every Rigaud candle transforms into a delicate, fragrant veil that fills the home with luxurious scents.
Each candle is slowly cooled to ensure a perfect fill, then poured, prepared, and packaged entirely by hand, honoring the traditions of haute parfumerie. From meticulously composed scent profiles to the smooth, flawless finish and hand-tied ribbons, every detail reflects timeless craftsmanship. Encased in elegant glass vessels, the richly colored wax casts a warm, luminous glow.
